They wouldn’t repeat the questions from the book. In the books, they use “similar” questions to the ones seen in past exams but not the same. That’s why they say the books are “authentic” material. They would use similar type of questions and topics though so books are still probably the closest you can get to the real IELTS test.

How likely are the Cambridge book questions to be repeated in the main exam?
